  Negative keywords

  So I am trying to figure out if there’s a way to add a negative keyword to my campaign as it is a search term that is becoming costly, but the problem is that the one word is used in almost every ad and ad group.

  For example: my client offers “XX management software” but is (for the most part) irrelevant if you just search for “XX.”

  Is there a way to add “XX” as part of a negative keyword list without it affecting the other keywords?

  Any help is appreciated!

  Try adding variants of that in negative as exact.
