Just want to rant about Creator Studio and scheduling Instagram posts…
We investigated some tools for scheduling social media posts, but to be honest we preferred the native tools for tagging and hashtagging and possibly other features too… Not to mention the monthly cost of third party tools.
But Creator Studio just seems to be acting completely randomly when it comes to scheduling Instagram posts. Sometimes they go up at completely the wrong time, and sometimes they just disappear altogether.
Judging from Reddit this has been going on a long time too.
I just wanted to vent so thanks for listening. But also, out of curiousity, what tools are you all using for scheduling?

I stick to the “quality over quantity” method and simply post them myself. That way I am also on hand to respond to commenters and potential clients/business opportunities. It’s win/win.
Actually I wasn’t even aware that IG let you schedule stuff inside the app now. Is that new?

The only time Creator Studio acted weird for me was one time when I was Action Blocked from posting. I had scheduled something days before the block, and it posted through CS even though I could post or like in the app.
I thought I found a loophole (that I would hopefully never have to use), until the other day when I was blocked again. I was rather disappointed when my scheduled post didn’t go through.
Both times were me being a little too loose with my normal follower/following cleaning. Definitely not out here trying to spam.

I had this happen today! It made duplicate scheduled posts at different dates and times and then randomly posted for me today! It’s beyond frustrating. There are so many things I would change to make it more user friendly too.

I have seen a lot of people complaining again and again about this. I suggest trying socialbu.com. It’s also very affordable.
