is the update still going on, local business site dropped pretty significantly
mainly title, have a local business site that was ranking around mid 20s and 30s for a few keywords that I was tracking but it has dropped to pos 50 -70 and the drop occurred on the 24th
haven’t built any links or done anything suspicious, but I did add around 8 new pages to the site taking it from a one-page site to a 9-page site with a little internal linking

The May Update is rolled out and done.
Difficult to say why you dropped so significantly. Maybe your added pages are not fitting in the main topic of your business for Google. Without looking at it properly it is difficult to say anything to be honest.

Very difficult to say anything without looking at the data then to be honest. It could be another small Update from Google, since they have them almost daily, it could be an attack from the competition, it could be that most of your backlinks are banned by google, it could be that your competition does something better and so on. Very difficult to say without any data 😀
