I need to swap billing profiles, but finding this is “feature locked”
I manage PPC for our agency. We’re onboarding a new client and they bring a seasoned Google Ads account to the table. We’re taking over billing and will manage it for them moving forward. On all other accounts, I’ve started with new accounts.
Setting up billing has not been easy with this established account. Swapping billing profiles on established accounts requires an MCC payment profile linked to the MCC account. Setting up that linked account requires invoiced billing on the payment profile.
We don’t want invoiced billing as it costs us more. We lose credit card protections and reward points and get no spend discount AFAIK. So, I’m concluding that the freedom to manage and easily change billing on client accounts as an agency is locked behind a don’t-use-credit-cards paywall.
Am I missing anything that makes this feature a win instead of a setback for our business?
