I need to grow a new account from 0 to 3 / 5K minimum in two months. I need some opinions
So I’ve been working in social media for 4 years, but this is my first time building a community from 0. I’ve been working on an NGO about music, science and nature, we have an appealing content strategy, but my main problem is that I only have a 200€ on budget for social ads. We have Instagram and Tik Tok, and different content for each one. It’s super difficult growing on instagram these days, and this is my first time with TikTok.
I’ve been trying different things, but I would love to hear some external opinions, what you’ve been doing? What is working for you? Tysm

200€ a month or total? Either way that isn’t very much.
The advertising strategy that has worked for me in terms of just bulk numbers is to target very broad for a week or so and then double down on demographics that have low costs per conversion.
For instance I did that with a show I make and I ended up advertising in India for a english speaking american show. These people don’t engage with the content in any real way but they did boost the number of followers significantly.

Hi, I gain around 10k-20k followers a day on Tiktok and my best advice is to make “good content”. Aka things that grab peoples attention or makes them stop and think. Best ways are tutorials, interesting facts or things that evoke strong emotions. There’s no easy way out, look for viral content in your niche then test + extperiment what works for you and milk the thing that works as long as you can. As for ad spend, the cheapest way is to pay reposting accounts on instagram in your niche to repost the best of your content. Getting 5k or more when starting from scratch in two months is totally doable. 🙂

I routinely spend less than 200 bucks for 5k likes in 2 or 3 days.
Just keep in mind the traffic sucks and they won’t engage with anything at all, but… I use this to grow fb pages that im going to run ads from – my fb rep says the platform favors ads from pages with more likes, 3-5k likes is about bare minimum

Hey, I work for an NGO, too. Here’s what I would do:
Music, science, and nature are all really fun and interesting things.
You said “we have an appealing content strategy” so I’m going to throw out a guess here and skip telling you what kind of content to make.
Keep posting it. Every day. Make sure you’re using appropriate hashtags.
Here’s what’s going to be time-consuming and fairly boring…but the results are worth it:
Come up with popular hashtags that people are using related to those things.
It’s important to find a balance between “too vague” and “too specific”.
For example, #music, #science, and #nature are all probably too vague to spend time on.
Let’s say you’re doing a week spread on how birds fly…science and nature.
According to Keywordtool.io, #natureatitsbest has about 784,844, making it a fairly popular tag but not overwhelmingly broad like simply #nature.
Come up with a list of hashtags like that…you’ll have to do more research.
I would do a minimum list of 10…the more you can the better, but it becomes a time thing because…
Now you’re going to search for each of those tags on Instagram and comment on the posts.
Real comments. Not just “Cool!” “Awesome!” “Great photo!”
**Real** comments. Interesting facts might be a good policy.
An idea I just had: Search for specific bird types and find people who posted pictures of that bird. Comment with a fact unique to that bird type. “Hey did you know that [bird type] is the only bird that poops perfect 3-sided pyramids?”
Also, don’t forget to engage with the comments ON YOUR posts.

NGO money is hard to get and can be put to far better use than enriching one of the richest jerks in the world.
Send us a DM on IG and if we can and if the STEM component works for our feed, we will give you visibility and reposts for free and ask other friends to do the same.

Use guides. They will promote ur reels and guides because that is what insta is promoting themselves. U can still put # for a later time. Make sure ALT text for all images. Your account will grow

Follow all competors and follow all there followers and comment and post on there posts. Like and share. The algorithm lives this and will push ur content

The only way to grow ur Instagram right now is through the new reels and guides. Hash tags don’t work rn so u have to play their game and push what they are pushing.
