  • How many likes/followers is the benchmark to be considered “big” on TikTok?

Posted by seohelper on March 29, 2021 at 7:18 pm

I joined TikTok 3 weeks ago so I consider myself relatively new to the platform so I have a hard time assessing a few metrics relative to other creators.

I have just passed the 36k follower mark and have 1,5 million likes. I know that it’s easy to blow up on TikTok so what’s the benchmark to be considered “big” on this platform in your opinion?

    Thank you in advance 🙂

“Big” is very subjective but 36k is a great number. Probably puts you in the category of nano-/micro-influencers. As a marketer, I’ve definitely done brand deals and sponsorships with creators of your following, even less.

Plus, once you reach 10k followers you’re part of the TikTok Creator fund, meaning you can earn money just from uploading vids / earning views. A pretty good benchmark imo.
