SEO for Google is very different to SEO for YouTube.
I’d recommend not posting your videos on random subreddits as shown in your profile, since not only does this harm your brand, but also can lead to poor watch time and weak engagement.
Without really knowing your niche, I’d be looking at competitors, as well as ensuring that you’re engaging with your current audience.
Appearing on YouTube suggestions seems to be based on previous viewing experience, so that is something that is very difficult for you to “optimise” per se.
Generally speaking, focus on your video content and the value it brings to your audience, then you should see better engagement, retention, as well as *hopefully* more views in the future.

Never give yt link to friends and never post on reddit. At least in early stages.
Reason? You need live traffic from youtube search. With giving link to everyone and reddit yt search can shadow your channel in results.
I advise to search for YT seo, tags, etc.
