There has been speculation that both Facebook and Instagram have changed their algorithms to emphasize a “pay to play” like environment. We aren’t allowed to put paid behind our social per government guidance and I’m at a loss as I look at metrics. Not only that, but they’ve now made it much harder to pull metrics natively and from other reporting platforms. Has anyone found benefits from the change or any loopholes that make these processes easier?

I’ve experienced a huge dip in Facebook engagement and I was wondering why. 🙁

The new Instagram insights also aren’t great but I’m getting use to it. I haven’t experienced a significant drop there.

I have a meme page with 10k following.
I’ve been posting with hashtags that I know I get good views on. I’ve been posting with polarizing topics in mind. I’m posting most content in 1080×1350.
I haven’t seen a major drop and recently have had 2 of my best posts all time.
