[Google Ads Novice] We have a high conversion rate (25.23%) but only get an average of 38 purchases a day. How do we get more purchases, is it as simple as probably just raising the budget? Details in post.

    Hello Everyone,

I took over my company’s ad account back in October and have seen great improvements from before, but not that many purchases. I’ve calculated our LTV and discovered the breakeven CPC ($2.88) so our CPC is efficiently low as well. Here’s a quick [screenshot](https://imgur.com/a/3zIQ68D) of the current stats going back from when I took over the account to today.

As the title states, we get an average of 38 orders a day, where even some days it’s as low as 12. We have a pretty high conversion rate, so the ads seem to be relevant to our audience too. Our current budget for both of our campaigns is a total of $79/day split between two campaigns where one is valued at $55/day and the other is $24/day. We’ve experimented with raising the budget to $95/day and $55/day but it didn’t gain us a substantially higher amount of purchases so management requested that we lower it back down to the numbers I mentioned previously. When we did lower t back down, not much changed. The CTR even improved and sales went up (slgihtly, but they did improve).

So what can I do to raise the number of purchases? Is it as simple as maybe raising the budget to a much higher amount in this scenario?

If this should be posted somewhere else please let me know!

What’s your impression share like? That can give you an idea of how much you can expect from boosting budgets. Have you exported your campaigns to Bing? Maybe a keyword expansion or location expansion? Consider another channel, like paid social for remarketing?

There’s a tonne of questions I could ask, so I’ll keep it simple: What kind of conversions are you measuring? Are you selling physical product? If so, you might benefit from Google Shopping.

Are your current ads branded (so just matching your brand name keywords) or are you advertising against more generic terms, such as bicycles, tyres, mugs etc.?
