  Google Ads: Combine Shopping & Search campaigns under the same portfolio bid strategy (Target ROAS)?

  Hi,

  I normally like to use portfolio bid strategies and combine multiple campaigns under one strategy. I do this for Shopping campaigns and sometimes I also expand the strategy also to Search campaigns, but I’m not always sure it’s a best-practice. Sometimes performance seems good doing that, other times the algo seems to do weird things, e.g. bidding way too high on the newly added search campaigns with poor results.
  Anyone here who mixes Shopping & Search like that? Does it work well for you?

  Are you using Adobe’s Media Optimiser since you mentioned portfolios?
