  For how long is conversion data kept/useful for smart bidding?

  I just started out with SEM on Google.

  I am targeting a high-volume keyword (that is, there’s a lot of traffic/users who won’t convert).

  My plan is to get enough conversions, to the point of being able to start using smart bidding, so that it filters out all the users that aren’t going to convert

  However, my question is the following:

  Is the conversion data for this purpose kept forever or just for 30 days?

  If it’s kept forever, then I can just wait until I reach 30 conversions and then turn on Smart Bidding.

  If it’s kept for just 30 days, then I would have to increase my bids and my daily spend a lot, and take a lot of shitty traffic to get to 30 conversions/month.
