Feeling lost about my first campaign.

Posted by seohelper on March 9, 2021 at 1:30 pm

    Hey guys,

I’ve been running my first campaign for 3 days now and I’m feeling kinda lost. This is my first e-commerce shop, and I’ve made one sale the first day, none the other days. Unfortunately I messed up the pixel integration in my adsets so I don’t really know where that sale came from, fixed it sunday. My pixel is also totally new.

Those are the main stats of my adsets since the 6th March :

    |Interest|Audience size|CTR|ATC|IC|PUR|
    |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|
    |No interests|47M|1.08%|0|2|0|
    |Interest 1|10M|1.05%|0|1|0|
    |Interest 2|8M|1.04%|1|1|0|
    |Interest 3|4.2M|1.09%|5|1|0|

Each of the adsets has only one interest, a budget of 5€ per day, all of them have expanded targeting on and automatic placements (I’m not sure if I should keep those two). I also don’t know if it’s good to have such big audiences with a low budget. I did it to gather some data for the algorithm.

The campaign is optimized for purchases.

I’m clearly lost on which way to go. I was thinking of keeping only Interest 3 and upping the budget. Or maybe trying new interests. Any advices ?

Do you already exclude your sale audience? A clear pixel setup is really the most important thing. Try to fix this first. Regarding conversions the algorithm need up to 14 days to have enough learning to optimize towards conversions.

I’d turn expanded targeting off, and only do Facebook and Instagram feeds for the placements when testing cold audiences.
