[FB Ads] Video Ad Rejected But Other Advertisers Are Running It Right Now

Posted by seohelper on March 3, 2020 at 8:19 am

I’m selling a face massage device (dropshipping). I wanted to run a video ad showing the product and how it’s used – the video was created by the company producing the device – so all other dropshippers use it.

Ad got rejected because of HEALTH : excessively focus on a person’s body or body part. And that is correct, it shows the product and a person’s face (as it’s a face massage device).

But WTF, how am i supposed to do this? And why are other advertisers able to run the exact same video for their ads?

I can tell u on this exactly because I have been rejected 10s of times for the same device
Don’t show the body parts with zoom in
Remove zoom in clips in the video ad
Don’t show before and after in the video
Make sure that a person who explains or talks in the video have a happy emotion and not sad one

Hope u will than me later

    Try them now bro

Get a video editor involved to make a few editing, framing and animation tweaks to work around those FB ad policy restrictions. Pay the editor for up to 5 different amendments as it may take some more trial and error.

In the mean time, try static image creatives.

Wow I had this exact problem. And if it is a real person you email back and forth with, they won’t even actually look at the ad and help you on which parts are not being flagged. Facebook is so frustrating and I wish it would just go away forever.

Former FB Policy reviewer here. I believe there are a few exceptions to the zoomed-in body part tag that you can appeal. Make sure the ad is targeting 18+ [not younger] and when you appeal it make sure to be nice and say that this is a cosmetic product that necessitates close up to feature how it is used.
