    Facebook: show multiple related ads

Posted by seohelper on March 3, 2020 at 12:15 pm

In Google Adwords I have multiple similar ads, and Google rotates them. It can also show the most successful ads more often.

Can I do the same with Facebook Ads?

I created an ad set with multiple similar ads. I expected them to be selected equally, or for the most successful one to be selected more often.

But what actually happens is it selects one and ignores the others. And sometimes the selection makes no sense – e.g. it shows an image ad, even though there’s also a slideshow ad which is more engaging (so I’d expect it to be more successful, yet it has only a handful of impressions).

So… can I show multiple ads evenly? And if so, what strategy should I use to prevent the above problem?

Splitting the ads over separate ad sets would probably be the solution here.

You can use dynamic creative but if you do want to do it the way you set it up and actually have it feed out equally – set minimum budgets in each ad set
