Facebook remarketing DPA’s ROAS is worst performer

Posted by seohelper on October 12, 2020 at 9:29 pm

Is there anything I can do to improve the performance of my FB remarketing campaign?

I’m using DPA with “Viewed or Added to Cart But Not Purchased” in 14 days.

ROAS is 1-3 and just not sustainable. It’s the worst performer out of all my other campaigns.

Should I just pause this campaign? Just confused as I thought retargetting was gonna convert really well.

    Any tips greatly appreciated!

What sort of feed are you using? What are you products? Its possible your catalog is not properly optimized. Are you using multiple copy variants in each ad set?

Maybe try it with targeting “find people who have not purchased” and then use the audiences of 14D VC and 14D ATC.

occasionally I see really bad performance on DPA ads and I switch to a manual retargeting campaign. CBO to me only works on retargeting, try something like CBO non-DPA?

use carousels if DPA format works for you historically?

    (video-carousel worked wonders for me)

Instead of picking retargeting at the ad set level. Pick prospecting beside and use an audience lists. Make an audience list for both View Content and Add To Cart (15 days or 30 days) Break out View Content from Add To Cart and make each their own ad set for each as well. That should improve your performance. View content could easily be dragging down your ROAS.
