    Facebook Learning Phase Limited

Posted by seohelper on March 5, 2020 at 4:15 am

    Hi all,

I have a few very well performing ad sets, and one of them has just began delivering as “learning limited”. FB is saying to change something about the ad, so I’m thinking I should increase the budget. Would increasing the budget reset the optimization of the ad, along with resetting the learning phase? If so, should I duplicate the ad instead?

    Also a few other questions:

For my other well performing ad sets, how often should I increase the budget on them, and by how much without resetting the learning phase?

When I’m past the learning phase, should I increase the budget on the original ad set, or duplicate the ad set with a higher budget?

    Edit: grammar

During the learning phase is not recommended to make changes, at least not big ones, so if you need to change your budget do it with max. 30% increments per day in order to avoid re-entering the learning phase. This rule applies when the campaign is active as well. Another thing you need to consider is make making all the changes you need at once.
