    (Facebook) Can I Use An Offline Event (phone calls from LP) As a Conversion?

    Currently using Callrail for tracking phone calls/measuring ROI. For facebook integration, I had to create an offline event set for phone calls, form submissions, and text messages.

    When Creating an ad, I did not see any of these offline events as options for conversions, only the fb pixel and corresponding default events.

    I then created a custom conversion for phone calls based on the event set, but that is not an option from the conversion dropdown when creating the ad.

    Right now, I’m stuck with pageviews as my optimisation target, but it should be targeting users who actually call my business. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you!

    Call rail has an integration for this but you will likely have to low of a match rate. Your best bet it to have your phone/phone click button action a modal that pops out with a tel: link and then fire your event when that tel link is clicked or the modal is triggered. With this I would suggest turning off audience network tho to avoid bit traffic.

    Have you linked the offline event to the ad account? Only then will you see it on the ad level for you to select.
