  • Does anyone know to choose which posts are and are not posted to certain locations on Facebook?

I run social media for a company with about 35 locations nationwide, some of which are corporate, some of which are franchises. The corporate locations will be closed on Monday (MLK Day), while the franchise locations will be deciding whether or not they will be open. When I post to our main FB account, the post automatically goes to every location/page associated with it.

So my issue arises here… I want to only post about the closing on Monday to the corporate locations while letting the franchise ones post their own updates. Does anyone know where/how I can modify the posting behaviors for this one occasion? I figured it would be somewhere in Business Manager, but I have not had any luck. We use Later for our autoposting, if that matters for anything.

Let me know if you guys have any advice/knowledge please!

You can go to each location page and edit their settings as to whether they publish posts from the parent page, and turn that off. However, this will turn off all posts, not just one. You’d have to manually turn this off and on again for each unfortunately

I would suggest giving franchisees the asset and copy to publish themselves, should they choose
