Does anybody else see better performance from direct Instagram post promotions?
I can’t explain it, but I’ve been seeing better performance using direct instagram post promotions versus facebook ads on instagram.
The context here is brand awareness measured in new instagram profile followers.
I believe the ‘Visit Profile’ CTA that the instagram post promotions has is much stronger than facebook ads CTAs if you’re trying to drive traffic to your instagram.

How did you set them up? Are you using the IG in-build “Promotion Manager” or are you using the FB ads manager and setting up dedicated IG campaigns?
If its the latter, have you used IG optimized collateral in the FB ads manager campaigns?

Honestly this just highlights that the algo is broken. IG promotion does not use your fb pixel.

Have been using FB and IG for two months.
IG AD performance is better if you have a nice picture, but it is still difficult to get followers.
FB reaching rate is fuxxxking annoying.
