Do 301 redirects work in 2020?
I just purchased an expired domain today with good high authority links. I was wondering if the 301 redirect technique works in 2020 as well or not. If the domain is relevant, has relevant good links and clean history.

Yes. I work for a large website and we use them all the time.

In my experience, it was not useful. You get some traffic but Google updates its index pretty quickly and you’re only left with traffic from other sites (backlink juice is not as strong as a direct link).
