Celebrity name I bought….am in dangerous territory?
A DA 90+ site in my niche which is a household name published an article about a very famous British Celebrity and incredibly the person that wrote the article mistyped (via the domain) the celebrities website – and – obviously – I bought it and can now redirect a dofollow domain to one of my properties.
My question is – I’m not concerned about the host site finding their error and fixing it – shit happens – I just lose $5, but I am concerned that the celebrity legal team will come after me if I redirect it to a commercial asset I own?
Or, maybe it is safer to NOT mention the celebrity on my landing page and that would keep me under the radar?
What do you think? World of pain or just 301 it to a Web 2.0 entity and be done with it?
