Business Opportunity for SEO
I’ve been learning about and implementing SEO strategies and tactics for 3.5 years. I’ve slipped into a mode in which every time I learn about a small business website from someone I know or I’m going to meet with, I do a lighting quick SEO performance audit with SEMRush and Screaming Frog.
I don’t think I’ve come across a site yet that is practicing SEO. It’s astounding how much marketing opportunity is left on the table. Apparently, folks believe that simply putting up a web page (with no meta descriptions, H1, or H2 tags) is going to work.
I’ve started offering some basic information as a favor. I managed to get one site to rank #1 for what should be some valuable local keywords.
