  • As an agency can I link my clients facebook ads to a landing page created on my agency site?

Some details about the idea. My clients are small businesses, very low budget and not willing to invest on having their own web. So I am thinking in creating landing pages for them, on my agency web, so I have somewhere to put a pixel and implement some lead capturing.

    Is it penalized by facebook?
Does it reflect poorly on my site SEO?
Is it an overall bad idea?

Thank you in advance for your time.

I don’t *think* there is anything technically bad about this per Facebook, but it does seem like an overall bad idea.

    1. Yes, it will probably screw with your SEO to have a bunch of random unrelated content living on your website.
    2. What happens when you’re no longer working with that client? Does the landing page come down? Do you continue to maintain it? Do they have to keep paying you to keep it up? This seems really messy.

I’d suggest finding an inexpensive, go-to landing page builder that you can recommend instead. Squarespace is about $20 a month, Leadpages starts at $25 a month, and those are both easy to use, so your client could reasonably assume the responsibility of them if you’re eventually no longer working together.

A free google one page website?
    Facebook lead ads?

In theory, but if they can’t afford to have a basic Squarespace or WordPress website, I’m not sure how they are even thinking about facebook ads. And if they are thinking Ads before thinking about a website, well, not super confident in the client.
