Are Facebook Hashtags already relevant this 2021?
I have been searching this sub for topics regarding Facebook Hashtags and most of the threads from the previous years said that Facebook hashtags are useless. What I want to know is if they are already beneficial at present. TIA!

They are for all intents and purposes useless nowadays lol. Use them for “subjects” of topics and that’s it (#FlashbackFriday, for example)
They used to actually do something for a bit back when Facebook had news and topics like Twitter then they ditched them.
Facebook is just so… meh now with so much bloat that makes no sense to be there honestly. It’s why I use it only for work nowadays.

Numerous studies have shown that since day one Facebook hashtags not only don’t increase reach but often decrease it. Don’t use them.

As on IG, Twitter, TikTok… HashTags have statistically no usage, and as already mentioned, may affect your content negatively, due to a possible conflict with their algorithm.

Well, when I grow my account I rely on engagement. But how do I find accounts to engage with? Mostly through # so I’d say even if they don’t work as much as other thing they might still be worth something
