  A vague question about backlinks? Does google watches over site selling backlinks?

  So i get a lot of emails giving $100’s of dollars for backlinks and they state that links must be free of any tags and dofollow. After checking the agency site in the emial – they don’t have any search traffic, no advertising, DA is also low, about us page doesn’t give much. And no traces in linkdin and other platforms.

  My site is new and is growing steadily about 3k to 5k organic users per month. Earnings about 1500 to 1800 dollars.

  So my question is – Does google actively watches over site selling backlinks? or competitors do this and report to google.

  Google penalizes buyers, not sellers.
