99% of my competitors do-follow backlinks are “coupon sites,” what can I do?
As the title states all my competitors backlinks are coupon codes.
They’re mainly spammy sites that host thousands of coupons and that’s his entire backlink catalog. He gets them weekly and their almost all the same.
Yet his site ranks significantly better than mine even though all my links are all legimate.
I just don’t understand? I hear quality over quantity all the time here but is it not always the case.
Any input or advice?

Start making coupons. Submit your site.

Well I would definitely not go and spam my own site on any coupon sites, no matter the ranking or competition. If they’re not penalized now, they will probably be in the future. Just make sure your content is way better and keep building your legit links. Google will recognize that eventually.
