    So to summarize, tools seem to fall into these 3 categories:

    **Premium tools** (expensive, but with rich functionality that is much more than rank tracking)

    * Ahrefs
    * SEMRush
    * SE Ranking

    **Basic tools** (cheaper, provides rank tracking)

    * SerpRobot

    **Free tools** (limited functionality, used for basic analytics)

    * Google Analytics
    * Google Search Console
    * Google Trends
    * Answer the Public
    * Also Asked
    * Bing Webmaster Tools
