Google may still index the http version for a time but if a user navigates from the SERP they should land on the HTTPS version if you are following the correct guidelines on forcing HTTPS and 301 off the HTTP version. Over time Google will correct the URL in the SERP and maybe give you a slight bump in rankings in the process.

I’d say be patient with Google. Once the user is going to the right page you should not worry too much. Trying to force the change via GSC may not be a good use of your time and tends not to work imho. Only try this when there is errors that need correcting.
